Dear dad, father, papa, père, babbo, padre, pai, apa, happy father’s day.
Today we celebrate the hard-working fathers and male figures who played a big role in shaping who we are while guiding and supporting us whenever they could. So thank you for everything you’ve done for me.
I want to give a shout out especially to both immigrant and Black dads. We know it’s hard being a dad. We know what you’ve sacrificed for us, and we LOVE you for that.
You are important. You are needed. You are phenomenal. You are extraordinary. You are remarkable.
Papa I promise to make you proud.
